Watch Niall Horan, James Corden’s ‘Pony’-Inspired Halloween Slow Jam ‘Candy’

Silly video features graveyard dancing and outlandish costumes

Former One Direction singer Niall Horan stopped by The Late Late Show Thursday to create the Halloween slow jam video “Candy” to the tune of Ginuwine’s “Pony.” Horan recently launched his solo career with the acoustic tune “This Town.”

The video begins with Corden dressed like Batman and trick-or-treating at a confused woman’s house. Horan entertains another woman, who is more receptive and seductively dumps candy on her head. Over the course of the silly video, the pair dance in a graveyard and dress up as corn, an astronaut, a pirate and a vampire. “What’s your Halloween fantasy?/You want a ghost, baby boo?/You want a cow? Baby, moo,” the pair take turns singing towards the end of the song.

One Direction went on hiatus last fall after the release of their fifth album Made in the A.M. Former member Zayn Malik released his debut album in March, while the remaining members have hinted at solo recording deals and projects. Horan is the first of the four to release solo music.
