MGMT’s Ben Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden are anything but subtle on lead single “Your Life Is A Lie” from their upcoming album. The video is a manic frenzy of sharp-cut, repetitive visuals which include a skeleton chorus, a cartoon fetus and a sobbing rock set against fuzzy guitar. Director Tom Kuntz – who also worked with the band on their video for “Congratulations” – highlights the absurdities and falsehoods of ordinary life in “Your Life Is A Lie.”
