Watch Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want for Christmas’ Sung in 20 Different Styles

10 Second Songs’ Anthony Vincent returns with spot-on impersonations of pop icons and holiday music masters

With Thanksgiving leftovers and crazy relatives gone, the holiday season has officially begun, and 10 Second Songs’ Anthony Vincent has offered up a multi-faceted musical treat: A rendition of Mariah Carey’s classic, “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” sung in 20 different styles.

Billboard premiered the new video on Tuesday, which finds Vincent — decked out in a Santa hat and beard — combining his on-point pop impersonations with loving send-ups of the artists behind some of the most indelible holiday classics.

Vincent blends the Vince Guaraldi Trio (A Charlie Brown Christmas) and Thurl Ravenscroft, who famously sang “You’re a Mean One, Mr Grinch,” with Depeche Mode, Eric Church and Alvin and the Chipmunks (the latter involving the inhalation of a significant amount of helium). The singer-impressionist also cleverly adds a different kind of wintry mix in the form of a dead-on impersonation of “Informer” quick-spitter Snow.

Vincent has been on a tear with his “20 styles” covers, a series that kicked off after his wild rendition of Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse” went viral in March. The video wracked up over 1 million views on YouTube in a week (it’s now at 13 million), and Vincent quickly followed it up with versions of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” Jason Derulo’s “Talk Dirty to Me,” Ariana Grande’s “Problem,” and Linkin Park’s “In the End,” the latter marking his first official collaboration with an artist.

Following his initial success, Vincent spoke with Rolling Stone about how he came up with the idea for these unique covers, as well as the joy of watching viewers discover new music through his clips: “I love that people are having conversations that are involving Frank Sinatra, Type O Negative and Tech N9ne at the same time,” he said. “If I’m in any way responsible for having some 14-year-old girl Google ‘Type O Negative,’ that’s crazy.”
