Watch Lion Babe’s Uplifting ‘Got Body’ Video

Lion Babe bounce around New York City in the music video for latest single “Got Body.” The uplifting, soulful track appears on the duo’s debut album Begin.

Singer/dancer Jillian Hervey and producer Lucas Goodman groove through apartments, subway cars and various record stores around the city. Goodman is shown producing a track that Hervey dances to around the various locales. 

Begin was released in February and followed the neosoul duo’s self-titled 2014 debut EP. Their LP features a guest spot from Childish Gambino (“Jump Hi”) and a songwriting credit from Pharrell Williams. “He was just so quick, flipping through sounds on his laptop while he probably had three sessions going at once,” Goodman recalled to Rolling Stone earlier this year of their experience recording outside his apartment for only the second time ever.

Over the summer, Lion Babe toured with Kamau and released a mixtape titled Sun Joint.
