West announced the listening party in late January, when the album was titled Swish. While it’s unclear if West will perform at the event, his collaborator, conceptual artist Vanessa Beecroft, will headline the event. The listening party will also double as the debut of “Yeezy Season 3,” his latest fashion line. He premiered the corresponding zine for the line in a parking garage Wednesday night where scans of the issue were projected on the walls.
Even with the livestream available online, the event will also be streaming at theatres internationally. No U.S. theatres will be hosting a showing of the listening party.
The Life of Pablo — formerly known as So Help Me God, Swish and Waves — will be released Thursday, according to West, at an undetermined time. He confirmed the final name and track list on Twitter Wednesday night after numerous, public changes to the structure of his seventh LP. West will also appear on Saturday Night Live this Saturday.
