Watch Justin Timberlake’s Majestic New Concert Film Trailer
Justin Timberlake tears through a bombastic rendition of “Mirrors” in the new trailer for his upcoming Netflix concert film, Justin Timberlake + the Tennessee Kids.
Directed by Jonathan Demme, the film captures Timberlake’s 2015 performance from Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena – the final concert on his massive 134-date 20/20 Experience World Tour.
The trailer teases the night’s grandeur, shifting between shots of the pop star and his crew preparing for the concert with Demme’s cinematic footage of the Tennessee Kids building a groove while Timberlake entices the crowd. The second half of the clip finds Timberlake belting “Mirrors” amidst a slew of clips in which he interacts with his band and the crowd, and shows off a stellar array of dance moves.
Justin Timberlake + the Tennessee Kids arrives on Netflix October 12th. Demme recently spoke with Rolling Stone about the concert film, saying, “We wanted to bring some ‘That’s Entertainment!’ style to the way we shot it. I love song-and-dance performances. I’ve always wanted to make a musical, and this was my chance to do that. And starring Justin Timberlake, at that.”
