Watch Jennifer Lopez, Corden Prank Text DiCaprio on ‘Carpool Karaoke’

Singer refutes myth of purchasing “butt insurance,” sings “Love Don’t Cost a Thing,” “Jenny From the Block”

J. Lo (Jennifer Lopez) and J. Co (James Corden) cruised through Los Angeles for Tuesday’s Late Late Show primetime installment of “Carpool Karaoke.” Throughout their trip, the duo sang a variety of Jennifer Lopez tracks (including “Jenny From the Block,” “Booty” and “Love Don’t Cost a Thing”), sent a prank text to Leonardo DiCaprio and chatted about topics ranging from marriage proposals to ass insurance.

“Did you insure your butt for $1 million?” Corden asked the singer between sing-alongs. “Is it in case you sit on something sharp?” But the singer denied the myth altogether. “CBS have insured my ass,” the host cracked. “But not for me, for the viewers – in case it gets seen and people are traumatized.”

Corden also asked Lopez about “the youngest guy” she’s ever dated. “They have to be legal. I’m a relationship kind of girl. I’m so monogamous, it’s stupid,” she said, explaining she’s been married three times, but proposed to five times. “How do you say ‘no’?” Corden asked. “You just say ‘no,'” she fired back.

The host got even more personal by rifling through Lopez’s phone to find the most famous contact, listing names like Demi Lovato and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. After finding Leonardo DiCaprio, he delivered a text on her behalf to the Revenant star, reading “Hey baby, I’m kind of feeling like I need to cut loose. Any suggestions? Let me know. J-Lo (ya know, from the block).” DiCaprio’s response: “You mean tonight, boo boo? Club-wise?”

Corden’s “Carpool Karaoke” special – which aired at the 10 p.m. primetime slot – also included highlights from past segments.
