Halsey goes to prep school in the video for her latest Badlands single “Colors.” The LP was released last August.
Teen Wolf‘s Tyler Posey stars alongside the pop star in the hazy clip, which opens with the pair and their parents playing tennis at a country club. It’s slowly revealed that Halsey’s mom and Posey’s dad are dating each other, but the video seems to indicate an attraction between the two kids, who also attend Badlands Prep together. Halsey takes Polaroid pictures as Posey and his dad change after the tennis match, and she continuously attempts to hide the photographs whenever he comes near her.
The assumption that Posey is the object of Halsey’s attraction turns out to be a lie: it’s his dad that Halsey has been photographing and falling for. The reveal occurs when she drops the pictures in their school hallway and Posey helps her clean up the mess. The video goes back and reveals the photos she took of the father changing and playing tennis all along.
