Watch FKA Twigs’ Intimate ‘Good to Love’ Video
FKA Twigs has debuted the intimate, haunting video for the warm, romantic new song “Good to Love.” She will perform he new single on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon next Wednesday.
The singer originally debuted the track, which she produced alongside Rick Nowels, during her Soundtrack 7 residency at the Manchester International Festival. In the self-directed, black-and-white clip, a series of claustrophobic shots zoom in on Twigs moving and contorting her body beneath white sheets in a bed. As the gorgeous R&B song’s beat picks up, the performer is seen more clearly dancing on the bed.
Twigs released her debut album LP1 in 2014 and followed it up with her 2015 EP M3LLI55X, which she previewed with a Lynchian short film. Next week, she’ll join Iggy Pop, Philip Glass, Sharon Jones and Gogol Bordello at the 26th Annual Tibet House Concert. In July, she’ll head to Ontario for the WayHome Music & Arts Festival.
