Watch Ellie Goulding Remix ‘Love Me Like You Do’ Eight Different Ways
Ellie Goulding appeared on The Late Late Show With James Corden Tuesday night, and rather than just performing a standard rendition of her hit single “Love Me Like You Do,” she and the host had some fun with the Delirium track. For the distinct performance, Goulding and Corden delivered the track through the spectrum of eight different genres, including rock, rave and reggae.
Goulding has been performing the Max Martin-produced Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack standout nonstop since it was released in January, so it’s nice to see the singer put a different spin on the single. It’s also enjoyable to watch two distinctly British talents deliver what they perceive to be a honky tonk affliction when it comes time to turn “Love Me Like You Do” into a country stomper. The bonanza remix of the track concluded with Goulding and Corden joined by a choir in turquoise robes to transform the song’s chorus into a gospel rave-up.
