Watch Ed Sheeran Pose for First ‘Rolling Stone’ Cover Shoot

Singer-songwriter’s third album ‘Divide’ projected to debut at Number One

Ed Sheeran just appeared on his first Rolling Stone cover. In a behind-the-scenes video, the singer-songwriter goofs off and dresses up for photographer Peggy Sirota.

For various shots, Sheeran posed with his guitar and a soccer football. Inside and outside of the studio, he tested out various jackets and laughed his way through the experience.

Last Friday, Sheeran released his third album ÷ (Divide). Led by Number One single “Shape of You,” the album is projected debut at the top of the charts. He’ll launch an extensive tour in support of the LP on June 29th that will take him across various arenas in North America through October. In his Rolling Stone interview, he noted his even bigger aspirations. “I want to do stadiums everywhere,” he said. “Like George Strait’s level — he tours every four years, does a couple of stadiums and then fucks off again.”
