Watch Dua Lipa’s Steamy ‘Hotter Than Hell’ Performance on ‘Fallon’

Emerging pop singer Dua Lipa performed her steamy single “Hotter Than Hell” Tuesday on The Tonight Show. Backed by two keyboardists and a drummer, the 20-year-old Brit brooded: “He calls me the devil/ I make him wanna sin” and “There’s a darker side of me that makes you feel so numb.”
The track follows previously released singles “New Love,” “Be the One” and “Last Dance,” and teases her upcoming debut LP for Warner Bros. Records. In a recent BBC interview, Lipa said “Hotter Than Hell” was inspired by a “really horrible relationship [that] went off the rails.”
“It was really bruising my ego and making me feel like I wasn’t worth it,” she said of the track. “I was heartbroken, but I started to write about that time and I felt I had a lot to say.”
Lipa performs Wednesday, August 3rd at New York City’s Mercury Lounge and has festival dates booked throughout the summer, including spots at Glastonbury, Pukkelpop and the Lowlands Festival. She kicks off a series of North American dates on November 3rd in Lakewood, Ohio.
