Watch Donald Trump Dance to Drake’s ‘Hotline Bling’ in ‘SNL’ Spoof

Mogul and Martin Short show off their moves in parody of viral music video

After a three-week hiatus, Saturday Night Live returned to a world that now features the existence of Drake‘s “Hotline Bling” video, which has gone otherworldly viral thanks to the rapper’s “dance like no one’s watching” moves. The Internet has since been flooded with send-ups of the smash video, but SNL unleashed the spoof to end all “Hotline Bling” spoofs Saturday by recruiting host Donald Trump and the return of Martin Short’s Ed Grimley to shimmy in this epic ode of horrendous dancing.

“I know you make fun of my dance moves / Turn me into memes and gifs / But I’m proud of my dance moves / Because lots of people dance like this,” Jay Pharoah’s Drake rhymes before listing off a bunch of people who dance like the rapper in the viral smash: Your dad, your physics teacher and “a drunk guy when his team scores.” Short then resurrects his pointy-haired Ed Grimley character to accuse “Drizzy Drake” of stealing his moves. However, the highlight comes when Trump emerges as a tax guy who’s stiff dance moves are rivaled only by the mogul’s delivery of the lyric, “You used to call me on my cell phone.”
