Desiigner and 19-year-old Brooklyn rapper King Savage join the ranks of the undead in the grisly new video for their collaboration, “Zombie Walk.”
Grant Curatola directed the sprawling, partly animated clip that follows Desiigner as he treks out to the country to meet King Savage at a party. When his car breaks down, however, the Brooklyn MC is forced to hitch a ride with a man whose cough turns out to be much more sinister. After the man takes a bite out of Desiigner’s neck, he sprints through the woods in a sequence intercut with shots of him performing the menacing trap track.
While things at the party seem normal, the proceedings quickly turn surreal as the clip jumps between live action and animation. Desiigner – now sporting an ugly bruise on his neck – finally arrives at the house only to find King Savage is also beginning to transform into a zombie. The harrowing clip ends with a horde of zombies slouching through a graveyard and Desiigner watching his friend receive a crown of bones.
“Zombie Walk” appears on Desiigner’s debut mixtape, New English, which arrived this summer.
