Watch Charlie Sheen’s Wild Cameo in Irontom’s Surreal ‘The Minista’ Video

“It’s like Led Zeppelin and the Beatles had a baby, and it was raised by wolves,” the actor says of the band

‪Irontom’s first music video, for the new single “The Minista,” opens with the Malibu band playing in a black-and-white bedroom. A minute and a half later, color comes in, and the foursome ends up in a strange masquerade ball that drummer Dyl Williams describes as being “heavily inspired by the art of Salvador Dalí and Magritte.”

In this new setting, Irontom continues the song while standing amid a cast of extras styled by David LeRoy Anderson, the Oscar-winning makeup artist behind films like Men in Black and Dawn of the Dead. Guitarist Zach Irons (whose dad, former Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Jack Irons, produced the track) jumps into a tight solo, someone licks his instrument and the camera keeps returning to a man in a gold mask.

Back in the bedroom, the band members open their eyes, and the video ends with a shot that reveals the man in the mask to be Charlie Sheen. “These kids are the real deal,” the actor tells Rolling Stone, unafraid to hyperbolize. “It’s like Led Zeppelin and the Beatles had a baby, and it was raised by wolves.”
