Watch Charles Bradley’s Psychedelic, Political ‘Change for the World’ Video
Charles Bradley has debuted a powerful video to complement his politically charged single “Change for the World.” The track will appear on his upcoming album, Changes.
Eric Feigenbaum helmed the psychedelic clip that places Bradley, his backing singers and band over spliced news clips, including images of police, Black Lives Matter protests and Donald Trump. Multiple colors and dancing silhouettes are also layered over the video.
“This video truly represents the song,” Bradley told Noisey about the clip. “It shows a lot of the things going on in this world right now. People need to open their eyes, ears and hearts and understand that we need to make a change.”
In December, Bradley unveiled a cover of Black Sabbath’s “Changes,” the title track for his follow-up to 2013’s Victim of Love. The soul singer will tour North America from February to May and will release Changes on April 1st via Daptone Records’ imprint Dunham.
