Rock band debuts first single off upcoming studio LP

Bon Jovi unveiled the new video for “This House Is Not for Sale,” the first single off the upcoming rock album of the same title. This House Is Not for Sale, the band’s 14th studio LP, is due for release on October 21st.

In the video, Jon Bon Jovi takes a nostalgic drive around his old New Jersey neighborhood, passing the homes that once meant something to him with “For Sale” signs mounted on the lawns.

“These four walls have a story to tell/ The door is off the hinges, there’s no wishing well  Outside, the sky is coal black/ The streets are on fire/ The picture window’s cracked and there’s nowhere to run,” Bon Jovi sings.

This House Is Not for Sale, produced by John Shanks, follows Bon Jovi’s 2015 “fan record” Burning Bridges, which was released to fulfill their contract with Mercury Records. The new alcum marks the band’s first without any contribution from guitarist Richie Sambora, who left the band in 2014. While Sambora did not perform on Burning Bridges, that LP featured tracks penned by the guitarist.
