The tennis great first appeared alongside Beyoncé during the performance of “Sorry,” with Williams – who also had a cameo in the Lemonade short film – dancing along with Beyoncé and her army of dancers.
For “Drunk in Love,” Beyoncé brought out “someone special” – her husband Jay Z, the catalyst for much of Lemonade‘s material – to join her onstage for the Beyoncé track, with the couple playfully flirting with each other at center stage.
Lastly, during the encore, the To Pimp a Butterfly rapper appeared to deliver his featured verse on the Lemonade cut “Freedom” while parading down the stage’s catwalk. The performance ended with Lamar and Beyoncé splashing away in the pool situated at the front of the stage.
Even though Friday marked the last date on the Formation trek, Beyoncé had one last surprise for fans as she staged the live debut of Lemonade‘s “6 Inch,” with the singer suspended upside down for the first ever performance of the track.
