Watch Baauer’s Violent, Revolution-Themed ‘Day Ones’ Video
Baauer has debuted the violent, surreal video for single “Day Ones” featuring rappers Leikeli47 and Novelist. The producer and DJ premiered the single on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert last month.
The video features two armies of men wearing American Revolutionary War uniforms marching through modern city streets. The men are armed with long rifles, and the two matching groups meet in a parking lot. As the guttural, urgent song picks up, the armies shoot at each other as the rappers perform nearby the carnage. The bloody battle ends with one man walking off in the distance.
