Director Young Replicant (Lorde, Flying Lotus) helmed the clip, which follows a funeral procession in the mountains of Mexico. After a young woman is laid to rest, the entire town joins the somber march though the city until they reach the foothills, where a small cadre of men – including the woman’s lover – break off and continue the trek. Eventually, the young man is left in the mountains with his beloved’s coffin and a donkey to help him haul it. During his journey, he endures storms and wild dogs, and ultimately meets a grim demise.
Relaxer follows Alt-J’s 2014 album This Is All Yours. Along with “3WW” the band also shared album cut “In Cold Blood.” The group has a handful of summer concerts planned, including stops at Panorama Festival and Outside Lands, though they will return for a longer North American trek in October.
