Watch A$AP Ferg, Remy Ma’s Glitchy ‘East Coast’ Video
A$AP Ferg and Remy Ma run New York in the surreal and cameo-filed new video for “East Coast,” the lead single from Ferg’s upcoming album, Still Striving.
Ferg and Shomi Patwary co-directed the clip, which is packed with low-angle shots, sped-up footage and images that are as gaudy as they are glitchy, recalling the peak Nineties aesthetic of director Hype Williams. A$AP Ferg and Remy Ma spit the bruising “East Coast” in an array of locales, including a gorgeous domed room and the inside of a bank vault. The clip also includes appearances from A$AP Rocky, Rick Ross, French Montana and more.
A release date for Still Striving has yet to be announced. The LP will follow Ferg’s sophomore album, Always Strive and Prosper, which he released last April. Ferg also contributed to A$AP Mob’s debut LP, Cozy Tapes Vol. 1: Friends, which the collective released last October.
A$AP Ferg will join Future, Migos and Tory Lanez for the majority of the Nobody Safe Tour, which kicks off May 4th at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee.
