Watch 2 Chainz Recreate Prison Escape in ‘El Chapo Jr.’ Video

Rapper delivers ‘Trap-A-Velli Tres’ cut in jail cells and underground tunnels

Mexican drug lord Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán pulled off one of the more audacious prison breaks in history in July when he escaped a maximum security prison through a labyrinthine manmade tunnel connected to his cell. For 2 Chainz‘s “El Chapo Jr.,” a cut off his Trap-A-Velli Tres mixtape, the rapper has recreated that brazen jailbreak, charting every step from an El Chapo lookalike’s arrival in prison to his getaway van.

A poncho-wearing 2 Chainz also performs the track in a jail cell and inside the tunnels while gloating, “I’m the king of the trap / El Chapo.” The Stupid Geniuses-directed “El Chapo Jr.” is the second video in as many weeks for the rapper: 2 Chainz previously dropped his exorbitantly opulent “BFF” video with Jeezy. In addition to the steady stream of Trap-A-Velli Tres videos, 2 Chainz has also entered into the ugly Christmas sweater business with a line of holiday-inspired apparel ranging from a dabbing Santa Claus to a two-chained Hanukkah sweatshirt.
