Vince Staples Plots Massive Life Aquatic Tour

Vince Staples will kick off his first major North American headlining trek, dubbed “The Life Aquatic Tour,” February 24th in San Diego. The tour packs 26 cities in a six-week run.
Staples is touring on his latest EP, Prima Donna, which was co-produced by James Blake, No I.D. and DJ Dahi. Kilo Kish, who appears on EP cut “Loco,” will open for Staples. The poster for the “Life Aquatic Tour” nods to Wes Anderson’s film, showing the two MCs in Steve Zissou uniforms.
Tickets for the tour go on sale December 2nd at 10 a.m. local time, while a local pre-sale will take place December 1st between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. VIP upgrades will be available November 30th at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET via Staples’ website. “The Life Aquatic Tour” follows Staples’ run of international festival dates this summer, which included performances at Bonnaroo, Coachella, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, Primavera Sound Barcelona and Glastonbury.
After breaking out with his 2014 EP, Hell Can Wait, Staples released his debut album, Summertime ’06, in 2015 and Prima Donna in August.
