Video Premiere: Allison Iraheta & Halo Circus, “Gone”
Allison Iraheta, who four years ago made a massive impression as the 16-year-old rocker chick with the old-soul voice on “American Idol” Season 8, is finally back — and this time, she’s all grown up and making an even more massive impression on tastemakers like Duran Duran’s John Taylor, the Sex Pistols’ Steve Jones, Bat For Lashes’ Natasha Khan, Slash, DMC of Run-DMC, her old “Idol” pal Adam Lambert, and even the legendary Paul Williams, all of whom have sung the praises of her new band Halo Circus and HC’s fiery debut single, “Gone.”
Recently signed to L.A. indie tastemaker label Manimal Vinyl via the new pop imprint Badlands, Halo Circus officially release “Gone” as four-song EP today, October 8 (click here to get it on iTunes). And Yahoo Music’s Reality Rocks is thrilled to exclusively premiere the film-noirish music video for the sexy, slow-burning track. Enjoy the clip above, and get ready for Halo Circus’s album to drop in early 2014.
