Following in the footsteps of fellow '90s indie rock icons Pavement, Guided by Voices and the Dismemberment Plan, the Archers of Loaf reunited to play their first concert in 13 years on Saturday night in their hometown of Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

The show, an unannounced opening act slot on a bill headlined by the Love Language, was a fairly low-key event, though word had spread around town enough that many diehard fans were there to enjoy — and yes, document — the show. The band played a brief set including many of their best-known songs, including "Harnessed in Slums," "Web in Front," "Wrong" and, appropriately enough, "Nostalgia."

As of yet, no further reunion shows are scheduled.
