The Postal Service have unveiled a mysterious new update to their website, hinting at a possible reunion for Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello’s electronic project. The simple site bears the Postal Service logo along with 2013, fueling rumors of a possible Coachella appearance.

Gibbard told Spinner last October that a new Postal Service album was unlikely. “There are no plans to make a second record . . . I can’t say that enough,” he said, citing an aversion to keeping up with “new software technology” and lots of “mouse time” in making music with computers. “I’m much more interested in playing music than creating it, so to speak.”

UPDATE: According to Billboard, the Postal Service reunion is on with the band booked for Coachella. Sub Pop will release a deluxe edition of the group’s lone album, Give Up, next month to mark the record’s 10th anniversary. More dates and festival apperances are reportedly in the works.
