In case you haven’t noticed, Nine Inch Nails have been burning up the festival circuit this summer in preparation for a massive fall tour and the impending September 3rd release of Hesitation Marks, the band’s first album since 2008’s The Slip. Now, as one Reddit user has pointed out (via Antiquiet), a resourceful member of the music forum /mu – who was supposedly working with the NIN production team while they were prepping for their current shows – has made available a two-and-a-half hour, studio-quality recording of one of those rehearsals.

Nine Inch Nails Offer Sneak Peek of Epic New Tour

Recorded just a few months back in June, the tape features all the tracks Nine Inch Nails have been playing over the past month or so. The set list includes classics like “March of the Pigs,” “Closer,” and a new version of “Sanctified,” as well as Hesitation Marks cuts such as “Copy of A,” “Came Back Haunted” and “Find My Way.”

Of course these sessions are rehearsals, so there are a few stop-and-start moments, though you’ll also hear a good amount of talk between the musicians and a unique look at how frontman Trent Reznor has been leading this new incarnation of Nine Inch Nails.

Along with the uncut rehearsal tape above, NIN fan site Reflecting In The Chrome has organized the files into a more cohesive collection without the false starts and between song chatter.
