Tune-Yards’ Merrill Garbus Hoots and Hollers on ‘Water Fountain’

It’s only fitting that tUnE-yArDs’ Merrill Garbus would announce her return with a whole lot of “whoop”‘s and “whoo-ha”‘s: Below you can check out new song “Water Fountain,” an burst of peculiar pop propelled by kitchen-sink production and Garbus’ unhinged vocals.
The track is the first off tUnE-yArDs’ previously announced third album, Nikki Nack, the follow-up to the 2011 effort w h o k i l l out May 6th via 4AD. The album features production from John Hill (Shakira, Phantogram, M.I.A.) and Malay (Frank Ocean, Big Boi, Alicia Keys).
