Travis Barker Recruits Kid Ink, Ty Dolla $ign for Slick New Single

Iamsu!, Tyga also appear on Blink-182 drummer’s “100” from upcoming second solo LP

Travis Barker keeps it “100” on his new solo single, an all-star collaboration with an impressive crew of West Coast rapper-singers. Ty Dolla $ign sings the hook, while Kid Ink, IamSu! and Tyga add guest verses about a female companion. “Show me them tongue tricks only you and I know,” Tyga flows over Barker’s minimalist synth-bass and hi-hats. “She my buddy with the money / She a Paypal,” adds IamSu!

“100” is the first taste from the Blink-182 drummer’s as-yet-untitled second solo LP, which follows 2011’s Give the Drummer Some. That genre-hopping debut featured guest production from the Neptunes, RZA, Kid Cudi, Steve Aoki and others, along with guest rappers Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg and Lupe Fiasco. The drummer-producer’s next album is scheduled for a fall release.

Barker will begin his “Give the Drummer Some” residency at Las Vegas nightclub Hyde Bellagio on Tuesday, August 18th, playing tracks from his first LP in a DJ and drum set through 2016. The musician’s upcoming memoir, Can I Say: Living Large, Cheating Death, and Drums, Drums, Drums – co-written by Rolling Stone contributing editor Gavin Edwards – is out October 20th via William Morrow.
