Travie McCoy may be taking a break from his band Gym Class Heroes, but he’s doing just fine as a solo artist. The breezy summer jam “Billionaire” from his solo debut Lazarus has been rocketing up the Hot 100, sitting this week at Number Four, while the album debuted at Number 27. McCoy recently dropped by the Rolling Stone offices to talk about the record, what it was like to collaborate with Ke$ha and Cee-Lo and why his favorite band Bad Rabbits are the modern-day version of Prince protégès the Time.
