Tour Briefs: Taylor Swift

Following up her mega-successful Fearless tour – which grossed $64 million – the singer will hit 87 venues in 19 countries, including 53 U.S. shows in summer 2011. “I’ve been planning how to portray these songs in concert since they were originally written,” says Swift. “The visual element to songs is one of my favorite ways to tell those stories.” She has big plans for at least one song: ‘”Speak Now’ is about interrupting a wedding, and I’d like to interrupt a wedding onstage every night,” Swift says. The U.S. run kicks off May 27th in Omaha, Nebraska, with stadium dates planned in Detroit, Pittsburgh, Boston, Philadelphia, Kansas City and Dallas.
