Tour Alert: Bob Mould Returns to the Road in 2012

Audiences at alt-rock veteran Bob Mould’s upcoming tour will see the entertainer take various forms as an author, musical performer, solo DJ and member of his DJ duo, Blowoff (with Rich Morel), in 2012. The tour will be hot on the heels of a yet-to-be-named forthcoming album, which is his first release since 2009’s Life and Times.

Mountain Goats
Dubbed an “ace word-slinger” by Rolling Stone, the Mountain Goats’ frontman, John Darnielle, is taking his words and his band back on the road this winter. Touring throughout the south to cover the ground they missed over the summer, the Mountain Goats will continue to rock in support of their debut Merge Records release, All Eternals Deck.

Atlas Sound

Robin Thicke
On December 6th, Robin Thicke will release his fifth studio album, Love After War, an album that’s being promoted as his most raw and honest record yet. The R&B singer will take a brief tour to support the release, and he’ll spend the holiday season in a few of the United States’ major cities.

Real Estate
Brooklyn-based folk act Real Estate channels a dreamy, blissful acoustic sound on their latest record, Days. After an extensive tour this past fall, the group returns home to the States for a brief trek through North America, kicking things off in NYC with fellow indie-darling Girls on January 14th.
