Tony Parker May Miss Olympics Due to Drake-Chris Brown Brawl Injury

NBA All-Star point guard Tony Parker may miss the London Olympics due to eye injuries he sustained at W.i.P. nightclub the night of Drake and Chris Brown’s brawl, reports the Associated Press. During the fight, Parker’s cornea was scratched, and he now claims a glass shard “penetrated 99 percent” of his left eye. “I almost lost my eye,” says Parker on his French website.

Parker, a member of the French national basketball team, will visit a doctor in New York when he is cleared for long flights after July 5th. Brown and Drake were involved in a fight at W.i.P. in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood on June 15th. After the NYPD shut down the club for unspecified code violations, reports revealed Parker has filed a lawsuit against the W.i.P.’s owners. He is seeking $20 million in damages.
