The long-awaited debut album from Thom Yorke’s side project Atoms for Peace will be titled Amok, according to a post on Radiohead’s official website. It will be available on February 25th, but you can pre-order it on CD or vinyl now. The first single from the album, “Default,” was released on September 10th.

The group, which features bassist Flea, drummer Joey Waronker, percussionist Mauro Refosco and producer/guitarist Nigel Godrich, came together on Yorke’s 2010 tour in support of his solo disc The Eraser. “[We] discovered a good energy doing that,” Yorke wrote on the Radiohead website. “And it fell into this record.”

Amok was born during a studio jam session following the tour. Yorke and Godrich have spent the past couple of years working on the material, but Radiohead’s newest album, King of Limbs, and their subsequent world tour greatly delayed the project.

Yorke says that an Atoms for Peace tour is in the works for some point in 2013. “I’m still reeling from being on tour for much of the year,” he writes. “But we are planning to get together and play next year! We’re figuring all that out right now. Atoms is an ongoing and open-ended projected, where it leads I know not for certain . . . which is what is nice about it.”

Radiohead recently wrapped up their world tour, but Flea is busy with the Red Hot Chili Peppers through early February.

Here is the complete track listing for Amok:

“Before Your Very Eyes”
“Stuck Together Pieces”
“Judge Jury and Executioner”
“Reverse Running”
