The Beach Boys Re-record 1968 classic ‘Do It Again’

Band got together in L.A. to redo the 1968 classic

Last week the worst-kept musical secret in years was finally confirmed: the surviving members of the Beach Boys are reuniting for a massive 50th anniversary tour next year. (That will actually be their 51st anniversary, but who’s counting?) Earlier this year Mike Love, Brian Wilson, Al Jardine and Bruce Johnston put aside their long-simmering differences and entered a Los Angeles studio to re-record their 1968 classic “Do It Again.” The session’s main purpose was to give promoters a taste of the tour, but they’re also saying the song might go on a new album. A portion of the video hit the web last week, but here is the complete thing. Does the video make you more or less excited for the tour?
