The Arcs’ tour will technically begin at New York’s Bowery Ballroom on September 26th for a show that will be livestreamed on Yahoo. The tour will resume in Cologne, Germany on November 5th before the European leg wraps up on November 16th in Milan, Italy. The band will return to North America on December 1st with a show in Minneapolis and end the U.S. leg on December 20th in Nashville, TN at Ryman Auditorium.
The night before their Bowery Ballroom gig, the Arcs will make their television debut on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, joining a loaded roster of acts to take the stage at Colbert’s new series, including Paul Simon, Kendrick Lamar and Run the Jewels.
Earlier this month, Auerbach’s Black Keys bandmate Patrick Carney got into a late-night scuffle with the duo’s adversary Jack White. The Black Keys’ beef with Jack White began in 2012 when White barred Auerbach from using his Nashville studio. Over the years, White has accused the Black Keys of plagiarizing his sound while the Black Keys’ have been open about the rocker’s persistent bullying. Carney and White have since reconciled.
