Taylor Swift to Perform with Black Eyed Peas
Taylor Swift has been confirmed as one of the Black Eyed Peas‘ many guests at their upcoming free benefit concert in Manhattan’s Central Park on June 9th. The show, which will raise money for the poverty-fighting Robin Hood organization in New York City, will also include appearances by Carole King, MC Hammer, LL Cool J, Natasha Bedingfield, Debbie Harry and Whoopie Goldberg. Jack White Will Not Be Involved in Kinks Movie
Contrary to claims made by Kinks frontman Ray Davies in an interview with the BBC, Jack White has issued a statement that he will not be involved with a film adaptation of the band’s 1975 concept album Schoolboys in Disgrace that is being developed by comedian Bobcat Goldthwait. [Pitchfork]

Stevie Wonder to be Honored at the Apollo
Stevie Wonder will be inducted into the Apollo Legends Hall of Fame at the Apollo Theater’s 2011 Annual Spring Gala benefit on June 13th. The event will be hosted by Sinbad and will feature performances by Wyclef Jean, Raphael Saadiq, Paul Schaffer, Chick Corea and more. [Press release]

Jessie J Joins Katy Perry Tour
Pop singer Jessie J has been announced as a support act on the final leg of Katy Perry’s California Dreams tour. Dinosaur Jr. Reissue ‘Bug’ on Tape
