Suge Knight Arrested Again

Hip-hop mogul pinched for parole violation

Death Row Records founder Marion "Suge" Knight was arrested Friday
night for an unspecified parole violation. The
thirty-seven-year-old hip-hop mogul, who now runs Tha Row Records,
is being held without bail.

The arrest is Knight's second for parole violations in the past
year. On December 23, 2002, he was arrested on charges of
associating with gang members. Knight was incarcerated until
February 26th, at which point four of five charges were dropped,
the last one rubbed out with a 200-hour community service

Knight's troubles date back to a 1992 conviction for assault and
federal weapons violations. He was given probation, which he was
convicted of violating in 1996 when he and some associates were
videotaped beating a rival gang member in a Las Vegas hotel. That
crime drew Knight a five-year prison sentence; he was paroled in
August 2001.
