Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler was typically gabby at the photo shoot for the cover of the latest issue of Rolling Stone. He reminisced about his previous four appearances on the cover, and he shared a story about a shoot in the Seventies in which photographer Annie Leibovitz maneuvered him into a particularly revealing pose by straddling him and promising him drugs.
“I thought I was in for the ride of my life, but she whipped out the camera and got that shot of me,” he said. “When it was over I got nothing . . . but the cover, which is everthing.” Tyler also chatted about digging through his past to write his new memoir and named some of his favorite singers.
