Singer-songwriter Ben Taylor, the son of folk-rock icons James Taylor and Carly Simon, is prepping for the release of Listening, his first album of new material in four years. "Oh Brother," the first single, shows off Taylor's soulful voice – which bears more than a passing similarity to his father's pipes – alongside his trademark mix of blues-tinged guitar, Hammond organ and call-and-response backing vocals. Lyrically, the track is directed at Taylor's twin half-brothers, Rufus and Henry, who turned ten last year.

"I wrote this song to let them know that being cool was an accident," explains the singer. "The key was just to be themselves."

Listening is set for release on August 14th.
