On June 5th, Texas singer-songwriter Alejandro Escovedo will release his 11th solo LP, Big Station, the followup to his 2010 album Street Songs of Love. “Man of the World,” the album’s first single, is a spunky song that explores the struggles faced by a cosmopolitan man. “‘Man of the World’ was written in the spirit of the great radio hits of the late Fifties, early Sixties by artists like the Who, Eddie Cochran and Gene Vincent,” says Escovedo. “The lyrics are a humorous take on a man of the world.”
