Smashing Pumpkins Bassist D’Arcy Wretzky Jailed
Former Smashing Pumpkins bassist D’arcy Wretzky has been jailed in Michigan for refusing to appear in court for charges relating to an incident in 2009 when her horses escaped from her farm and ran wild through a town.

Wretzky neglected to pay a ticket for “Animals Running at Large,” and missed four court dates, which resulted in the warrant for her arrest on Tuesday. She is being held on four counts of failure to appear in court, but is scheduled to be released on Monday.

Wretzky has largely been out of the public eye since leaving the Smashing Pumpkins in 1999 to pursue an acting career that has not yet materialized. Not long after her departure, she was arrested for possessing three bags of crack cocaine in Chicago.
