Slipknot will once again take their Knotfest on the road this year with another trek they’ve dubbed the Knotfest Roadshow. The band will headline each date and A Day to Remember, Underoath and Code Orange will open. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. local time.

“We set a precedent last year — Knotfest is a showcase where you never know what to expect,” Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor said in a statement. “This year is no exception. The bands we have represent all corners of our musical world, just like we do. And they’re exciting as hell. I can’t wait to watch and enjoy them along with the rest of the fans.”

The opening acts also released statements about the tour. A Day to Remember’s Neil Westfall called Slipknot “a band that has defined heavy music for an entire generation.” Underoath’s Chris Dudley said, “When Slipknot asks you to come along for a summer of insanity, there are exactly zero questions to ask: You say yes.” And Code Orange’s Jami Morgan said, “Slipknot is one of the bands that we have had at the top of our list to be able to open for and hopefully be exposed to their amazing, cultural crowd that’s been around for a really long time.”

Slipknot are still touring in support of We Are Not Your Kind, an album that Rolling Stone dubbed the top metal album of 2019.

In an interview about the previous decade late last year, Taylor told Rolling Stone he had some high hopes for how he wants to spend his time after Slipknot’s touring winds down, including the possibility of a solo album.

“I’m doing a solo run after we’re done with Slipknot,” he said. “I have a bunch of songs; about 26 songs written now. I’ve got a band put together with friends of mine, people who have been a part of my solo gigs for the past 10 years. And we’re just walking through arrangements of stuff right now so once the time comes, we can just run right in the studio and record a bunch of music and get it out there. … So we’ll see what happens.”
