Brick Squad Monopoly rapper Slim Dunkin may have been murdered over a dispute about stolen candy, according to police in Atlanta. "The information we're getting, it's unconfirmed, but witnesses are saying this whole thing started over a piece of candy," homicide detective David Quinn told WSB-TV yesterday.
According to witnesses at the scene of the crime, the emcee grabbed a piece of candy from another man at an Atlanta recording studio, which led to an argument that escalated to a fistfight. Ultimately, the skirmish ended with Dunkin being shot in the chest.
There will be a public viewing for Dunkin, an associate of rapper Waka Flocka Flame, later today at the Willie A. Watkins Funeral Home in Atlanta.
