Skrillex Gives a Slick Remix to Chase and Status’ ‘International’

British production duo Chase and Status have a new LP, Brand New Machine, ready to drop on October 7th. The dubstep whiz does his thing on the dancehall-flavored cut, lacing it with laserlike synths and tight builds that explode into unhinged drops of pure pop delight.

“Chase and Status and I were playing Hideout Festival in Croatia last year and they showed me a rough of this song – and ever since then, I’ve had the ‘International’ vocal hook stuck in my head,” Skrillex tells Rolling Stone. “I wanted to make a track that worked well not only for festivals but in small rooms as well. Was stoked they asked me to do it!”
