Sia has paired her upcoming line of signature shoes with an inspiring new anthem titled “I’m Still Here.” The singer overcomes hardship and trauma on the galvanizing track that will also feature in the upcoming HBO documentary At The Heart of Gold: Inside the USA Gymnastics Scandal.
“Oh the past it haunted me / Oh the past it wanted me dead / Oh the past tormented me,” Sia sings on the chorus. “But the battle was lost / ‘Cause I’m still here.” Earlier on the track, Sia proclaims, ” Lost youth where did we go wrong / I’m fighting for me though / I’m lighting the long way home.”
“I’m Still Here” was released as part of Sia’s new fashion collaboration with Maison Repetto on a line of signature shoes. “Movement, dance, style and freedom are the values shared by both Sia and Maison Repetto. Throughout the past year, Repetto’s team and Sia came together to creatively build a collaboration capturing the spirit of everyone who lives to their own beat,” Repetto said.
“The capsule collection will include three Repetto iconic models driven by Sia’s mantra ‘I love you, keep going.’ Sia’s iconic elements were incorporated into the design to generate technical and emotional silhouette, paired with elements created by Sia herself.” The shoes are available to preorder now through the Repetto site.
Outside of her own solo career, Sia has been prolific in recent months, collaborating with Diplo and Labrinth for their joint LSD project, recording alongside Dolly Parton and penning new music for Jennifer Lopez and the upcoming film Vox Lux.
