Metallica are currently wrapping up their so-called “Metalli-3D” tour movie, and are asking fans to come join them for the final night of shooting at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Monday, August 27th. Tickets? Only $5. Not to mention there are no extra fees and all the proceeds benefit the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.

In a post on their website, the band noted that while they’ll be running through the full live show, there will be frequent breaks so director Nimród Antal can rearrange lights and cameras.

A ticket pre-sale started this morning, though tickets will be available to the general public beginning this Sunday, August 26th, at 9 a.m. PDT through Ticketmaster.

Metallica have been shooting their 3D concert film and tour documentary over the past month, carrying a “massive over-the-top stage” from Mexico City to Edmonton and now to Vancouver. The film is supposed to hit theaters next year.

“[W]e’re starting a little early to allow the movie people to do what they do,” the band wrote at the end of the post. “So please come and plan to stay for a full night of fun and games . . . and who knows, maybe we’ll see you on the big screen next summer!”
