See Joan Jett, Corey Taylor, Cheap Trick Play Telephone Pictionary
During Live Nation National Concert Day on May 3rd, many stars who are hitting the road this summer spent some time playing a game of Telephone Pictionary with Rolling Stone.
Andrew McMahon, who is heading out on tour with Panic! at the Disco and Weezer, kicked off the game by drawing his interpretation of a dizzy penguin. As the notebook makes its way through the hands of the Goo Goo Dolls, Corey Taylor, Rob Thomas and Cheap Trick, the rock stars give some surprising interpretations of each other’s drawings and guesses. By the time Joan Jett has the final word, the dizzy penguin ends up looking more like a former late-night television host.
Jett will be playing across the country this summer with Cheap Trick and Heart for the Rock Hall Three for All Tour. Taylor’s band Slipknot is sharing a bill with Marilyn Manson while Thomas will be touring in support of 2015’s The Great Unknown with fellow Nineties luminaries Counting Crows. Meanwhile the Goo Goo Dolls will follow up the release of new album Boxes with a summer trek alongside Collective Soul.
