See Icona Pop’s Empty Restaurant Dance Party in ‘Brightside’ Video
Icona Pop transform an empty Los Angeles restaurant into a personal nightclub in their sleek “Brightside” video. The Swedish electro-pop duo enjoy private dinner and drinks, gaze into glowing fish tanks and dance on fancy stairs throughout the clip, directed by Christine Yuan.
The group also announced an upcoming performance at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert, scheduled for December 11th at the Telenor Arena in Oslo, Norway. The event, honoring Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos, will also feature musical spots from Sting, Halsey and comedian/host Conan O’Brien.
Icona Pop released their Emergency EP in July 2015, the same month they embarked on a 23-date stadium tour opening for One Direction. Last February, they released the new single “Someone Who Can Dance,” which they debuted on the Swedish Grammys.
The duo’s second LP, 2013’s This Is…, featured their multi-platinum smash “I Love It” (featuring Charli XCX).
