See Future, Drake Tout Celebrity Status in ‘Used To This’ Video
Future reunites with his Summer Sixteen tourmate Drake for the video for “Used to This,” a new single from the Atlanta rapper.
In the clip for the Zaytoven-produced track, Future hangs around practice for what appears to be a faux Mexican women’s national soccer team while rapping about all the things he can get “used to” as a marquee artist: Hilltop mansions, Porsches and hanging out with the “real Madonna.”
Midway through the track, Future’s What a Time to Be Alive partner Drake drops in for his guest verse. “Lambo come alive man, I’m used to this / No one looks surprised cause we used to this,” Drake says. “Thought they had my back against the wall / Tell me that I don’t deserve to ball / Well then tell me who deserve it / Eyes getting low but I’m still observing / I see you lurking.”
“Used to This” is the usually prolific Future’s first solo track since he dropped his chart-topping EVOL in February. In June, the rapper and DJ Esco released their collaborative Project E.T. mixtape before Future hit the road with the Summer Sixteen tour.
“Used to This” is reportedly the first cut off the Beast Mode 16 project that Zaytoven revealed in September. The rapper and producer previously teamed for the Beast Mode mixtape in January 2015.
